Today is our Open House. I'm looking forward to seeing you all again today and sharing your child's learning. Here is a brief synopsis of what we've been up to in Grade One French:
In French, we are still focusing on "le printemps" vocabulary and the months of the year. The students did extremely well on their days of the week quiz last week. We have noticed some environmental changes occurring outdoors and learning these new words such as "les bourgeons".
In Social Studies, we are continuing to talk about the local community. Please see our grade one page to see our new vocabulary words. We will be having a quiz on these words May 30th.
Next month, we will be talking about farm animals. Please check in for our new vocabulary words soon.
