Hi everyone. I am back after a lengthy absence and I want to thank you all for your prayers and kind wishes. I am so happy to be back and teaching your child. I am only doing half days for the foreseeable future (Pouliot and Jackson).
This past week we have been continuing our journey in Jolly Phonics with the sound/letter "I,i". This week will be working on the "C/K" sound. We have started our Social Studies unit on "Community Helpers". We have been very excited about the Olympic Winter Games, and this week we will begin learning new vocabulary associated with this. Valentines Day is fast approaching, and we have been talking about the words linked to this special time of year.
